Bluewater Bio, recognised as the fastest-growing UK and European water solutions provider, is delighted to announce that they have received the King’s Award for Enterprise. The award was granted on a recommendation by the Prime Minister and approved by His Majesty The King. This is the second time in 3 years that the company has achieved this recognition. They previously received the Queen’s Award for International Trade.
Just over 7000 companies have received this award since its inception in 1965.
Richard Haddon, Executive Chairman and CEO of Bluewater Bio, commented: “This award recognises the benefits of our FilterClear technology which in recent times has become the preferred choice of our clients globally. As a result, FilterClear sales have increased more than ten-fold in the last 3 years.”
“We continue to enhance and develop our technologies so that we continue to exceed expectations and lead in performance, value, reliability and environmental sustainability.”
We had the privilege of welcoming Countess Howe, His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire, who formally presented the award.
During the ceremony, Lady Howe addressed the whole company to congratulate us on this special achievement:
“It goes without saying that you wouldn’t have been able to achieve this award without putting significant investment into developing new technologies. By allocating resources and importantly time for the development of new ideas and methodologies you have opened the door to building company success. The world needs leaders like you at Bluewater Bio, who bring innovation and change.
I am therefore thrilled to present Bluewater Bio with the King’s Award for Enterprise in the Innovation category.”
